Well this is embarrassing. So, if you must know, when I originally
started my i-Vefa blog (link above) with the intention on using iVefa. At the
time, the name iVefa was unfortunately taken, so I opted for i-Vefa instead.
Now this posed a bit of a branding issue, because people would Google iVefa
with the intention on finding me and get another random blog with not much on
it at all.
To make a short story long, after all these years, iVefa has become available to me through
not my relentless negotiation skills and countless email requests to the owner
to release it to me, but by chance!
I got yet another email telling me that they couldn't find
my blog on Google after searching ‘ivefa’ and I have to once again embarrassingly
tell them to instead search ‘i<space>vefa / i vefa or just vefa’.
Now, instead of going right ahead and changing the name right
away, I thought I would do a ‘soft transfer’ this way.
